George Eustice MP has come out fighting against the proposed impostition of VAT on Cornish pasties. Speaking on the BBC's Sunday Politics show he announced he will be suggesting changes to the legislation.
Mr Eustice said, "I will be trying to change or amend the proposal to charge VAT on pasties. Many of the largest and most famous producers of pasties are in my constituency and I will be putting forward suggestions in the ongoing consultation"
