George Eustice MP visited Linden Homes’ Boslowen development in Camborne recently to view the exciting regeneration development which will create much needed new homes for the local community.
George was also introduced to Linden Homes’ most recent apprentices, Wes Todd and Ryan Evans, who started their carpentry apprenticeship this month through the Linden Homes Apprenticeship Programme, in partnership with PSC Training & Development.
George Eustice said "The development at Boslowen is taking shape quickly and I think the shared equity scheme to help first time buyers which Linden operates is very important. I was also delighted to see the good work they are doing to give work to local apprentices and to meet Ryan and Wesley who had just started work. When it comes to building our housing I have always argued that we should focus on brown-field sites first and should resist the temptation to allow mass house-building on green-field sites."
Bill Cawse, managing director of Linden Homes said: “It was great to have George Eustice MP visit our Boslowen development. The new homes will breathe new life into Camborne and it’s good to see that most of the homes have been sold to local people, keen to get on the property ladder.
He added: “Sales have been fantastic in the short time we have been here, we have reserved 34 homes already and we’ve only just opened our new show home.”
Boslowen, which is Cornish for ‘happy home’, will include 396 new homes, spread over four phases of construction. The site was previously the location of the old Holman Brothers factory and will comprise a range of apartments, coach houses plus two, three and four bedroom houses.
Currently available are one bedroom apartments from £99,950, two bedroom apartments from £111,500, three bedroom homes from £163,950 and spacious four bedroom townhouses from £177,950. Linden Homes is offering its Easy Start loan scheme on selected properties, designed to help people onto the property ladder.
The show home and the sales and marketing office are open Thursday to Monday, 11am – 5pm. For more details call Marilyn on 01209 711873, email [email protected] or visit www.lindenhomes.co.uk
