George today asked the Prime Minister to prioritise transport projects that create jobs and deliver growth, such as the East-West Link Road. He is keenly aware that the current plans to regenerate Camborne and Redruth rely on this vital new transport infrastructure. George said, “The building of a modern, state-of-the-art mine in Redruth, and the 6,000 new jobs created would be a huge boost for the area”.
